Understanding food, knowing the right foods to eat and the positive effects, if eaten correctly, food can have on you is crucial in helping you reach your health goals.

I want to help you understand why you feel the way you do, why any symptoms are presenting and to support you in making positive changes.

The role of the Nutritional Therapist is not to treat the symptom of an illness but to understand why the symptom has occurred, once we know this we can make the necessary dietary and lifestyle changes to support you on your health journey.

When you come to see me, we'll go through each body system from your skeletal system to your cardiovascular system to your endocrine system (and more!) taking a really in depth look at you and your lifestyle. We can then work to address and identify any nutritional imbalances that may be contributing to an illness/or condition and work together to rebalance these nutritional deficiencies.

Nutritional Therapists don’t replace traditional medicine and I'll always refer you to a doctor if I feel it's necessary to do so, but as BANT (British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy) states, Nutritional Therapy is a Complementary Medicine and can work well alongside conventional medicine. It can support you if you're looking to enhance your health and wellbeing.

Because of Kirsty, I have started concentrating on nutrition and lifestyle rather than being on a ‘diet’ - you really have been my biggest help!
