Hello! I’m Kirsty and I'm a working mother of three very active boys. I am also a Nutritional Therapist.
My passion for Nutritional Therapy came about for a number of reasons, partly to do with my middle child’s psoriasis diagnosis (an auto immune condition),and partly to do with my family history of cardiovascular disease and diabetes. I started to research how food and lifestyle can affect your health – I found the results fascinating and decided to retrain!
‘Learning how to understand the human body and the effects diet and lifestyle can have on the body has changed my life and my families in such a good way!’
I qualified at the London College of Naturopathic Medicine and I'm a full member of the British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and registered with the Complimentary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
As a working mother of three very busy boys and wife to one busy husband I understand how hard it can be to juggle all of the day-to-day challenges of life whilsttrying to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
For me nutrition and lifestyle are about balance – when life is busy you don’t want strict rules to follow and you don’t want to be made to feel guilty about the odd glass of wine/beer or the odd chocolate bar!
"Nutrition is about finding the balance between enjoying life and keeping yourself in the best possible health."
Going forward I make sure to continue my professional development by attending seminars and conferences on a wide variety of topics. Nutritional therapy and research is an ever moving and changing subject and I'll continue to ensure that I'm aware of as many of the developments and as much of the latest research as possible.
I look forward to working with you!
